Surah Ar-Rahman was revealed during the later years of the Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) time in Makkah. According to a narration by Jabir ibn Abdullah, when the Prophet recited this surah to his companions, they remained silent. The Prophet then commented that the jinn had responded better during a previous recitation by affirming the truth of each repeated verse by saying: “None of your blessings do we deny, our Lord! All praise is due to You." This moment highlights the universality of the surah’s message and the spiritual awareness even among the jinn during this critical period of dawah (invitation to Islam) [1].
